The 2026 Asset Management STAR Awards North America mark a new chapter in recognizing excellence across the asset management industry. Developed in partnership with the Investment Management Education Alliance (IMEA), and powered by the deep industry expertise of FT Live, Ignites and FundFire, the program builds on IMEA’s long-standing STAR Awards legacy while introducing an expanded framework and new categories for a dynamic asset management landscape.
For nearly 30 years, IMEA’s STAR Awards have been a benchmark for excellence in investment management communications, education, and community engagement. The new Asset Management STAR Awards North America build on that foundation, broadening the scope to reflect how asset managers now operate, innovate, and engage across communication and distribution to retail and institutional clients.
The awards recognize outstanding achievement across thought leadership and content, marketing and product innovation, institutional and investor engagement, sales execution, firm-wide leadership, partnerships, and community impact. Categories are designed to highlight both strategic intent and real-world outcomes, celebrating initiatives that demonstrate insight, execution, and measurable impact.
Entrants benefit from a platform shaped by IMEA’s practitioner-led perspective and the editorial rigour of Ignites and FundFire, whose teams bring unparalleled insight into asset management strategy, distribution, and market dynamics.
In a rapidly evolving investment environment, the Asset Management STAR Awards offer more than recognition. They provide a trusted forum to benchmark excellence, showcase leadership, and celebrate the people, teams, and firms driving progress across asset management.
