METHODOLOGY
The Asset Management Star Awards North America are designed to celebrate excellence across the asset management industry, with a focus on performance, innovation, and impact. Our methodology ensures that each award is meaningful, merit-based, and relevant to the needs of both the industry and its investors.
Entry Process
Eligibility: Open exclusively to asset managers operating in or serving clients in North America, with at least 3 years of operating in the region (From January 2025 latest date to have commenced business in the region). Entrants must demonstrate activity during the eligibility period (e.g. March 2025– March 2026).
Submission: Firms may enter up to five categories via our official awards portal. Each submission must include:
For each entry, include a concise summary emphasizing the submission's standout features and relevance to the selected category, a description of your initiative's objective, as well as the specific goal(s) you aimed to achieve and an overview of the outcomes this entry delivered. Please include up to three campaign assets (where relevant) and supporting evidence, such as performance metrics, innovation details, client outcomes, or relevant KPIs. Your submission statement is divided into 3 sessions: Your entry statement, your goals and objectives, and your outcome and results. No more than 300 words per session must be added.
Judging process:
Entries will be judged by a panel of investment management leaders with expertise in marketing, communications, digital platforms, user experience, education and content development and distribution as well as other industry experts. Entries will be evaluated on:
Performance & Results
Demonstrated success against stated objectives
Measurable outcomes, impact, and effectiveness
Evidence of tangible value delivered (business, investor, or community impact)
Innovation & Creativity
Originality of ideas, strategies, or execution
Use of new approaches, tools, storytelling techniques, or formats
Ability to think differently and push boundaries within the market
Strategy & Execution
Clarity of goals and rationale behind the initiative or product
Quality of planning, implementation, and delivery
Alignment between objectives, strategy, and outcomes
Engagement & Impact
Effectiveness in engaging target audiences, stakeholders, or communities
Long-term influence, sustainability, or scalability of the initiative
Depth of connection built with customers, investors, or the wider community
